Hi bassheads

Im a guitarist but have a love of bass and bass players,I love all the great Jaco etc.


but probably my fav. is Pino

anybody got a few pics of his 79 stingray fretless with no fretlines and one humbucker

for some reason I was waiting on a white/creme colored bass to show up
thats what I have had in my head all these years for some unknown reason

This bass reminds me of John Deacon from Queen. (He played Rays exclusively during Queen's most popular period in the mid to late 70's)

One of the most underrated bassists in rock history!

Well I don't want to to go away completely let down, I can show you my white 78 Ray, but it isn't fretless, and I'm not famous.

Aussiemark has a white fretless 76/77, maybe he'll show you his. He's more famous than me.

It was because of Pino that I looked for my Frettless. I love all those lines of his.

I am still not as famous either, but I will taks this opportunity to show off my bass again...lol..

Just saw the Who play live on the HD Music channel, and Pino was playing a black bongo! Friggin sweet!!

My claim to infamy ... ...
we auditioned Pino circa 76 (he had just switched from rhythm guitar to bass and we turned him down !!! :eek: :eek: )
