Played some Slide on my JP6 last night...

Hey, not bad! I was actually impressed by the feel and tone while using the slide (glass). I played through my amp during band practice using a TubeScreamer pedal and it was a very smooth yet biting sound.

I play in a cover band and the versatility of the JP6 is starting to really show itself off, from the acoustic strummings of eagles tunes to the raunch of some Joan Jett tunes.

Interesting. My action is too low to play slide with. I'm using one of those hybrid Rocky Mountain slides too, so I don't think a lighter touch would change anything.
The JP is my most versatile guitar. I can cover a lot of music with it.

Whoops I actually didn't add an mp3! I was just commenting that I used the slide during practice.

My action is pretty low too, but it seemed to work... it played better than on my backup strat.


ivanmihaljevic - you live in Zagreb? Cool, my wife is from Slovenia... Rogatec, on the Croatian/Slovenian border... I've flown into Zagreb and have visited Opatija (sp?) on the coast. We are moving to Slovenia in a year (I already checked, there is an authorized EBMM Dealer in Slovenia!)
