I've been away for a while, and its good to be back. I haven't been able to play much lately because of work. Anyway I had a little time tonight so I popped in Albert Lee's Highlights video to play along with. Sterling is flat killing on the band sections of that video! For a good schooling on how to lay down a groove with a killer tone check out Fun Ranch Boogie!
Oh, I saw Albert Lee two weeks ago in a local music store. It was a great clinic and he told several Sterling stories. I never realized how close Albert Lee and the Balls are. Well, Albert is a great guy and a one of a kind player.
One last thing, I got to play a HH SR5 (same store as above), which sounded fantastic, and was probably the best SR5 I've ever played.
