Ok here’s the deal, I am anticipating a long awaited promotion at work and the idea is to reward myself -- or cheer myself up if I end up not getting it
. So a couple of weeks ago, I started looking around for my first real bass. It didn’t take me too long to settle for an EBMM. At first, I really wanted a SR 4HH, but the kind people at the EBMM Customer Service and Bass Central told me that it wasn’t going to happen. Anyways, that’s totally OK, as the Bongo seems like a more than honorable plan B. Actually I now like it a lot better than the Stingray that I’ve tried.
Now my problem is, when I try to pick a color (this Forum, TalkBass and BassCentral are my main sources for pictures) I always find myself liking the Limited Editions better: Buttercream is at the top of my list, Radiance Red is right behind. I also very much like the Blue Dawn and Black versions.
Now if I can’t find any LE, I guess I’ll go with the Candy Red, as it is close to the Radiance Red. But I feel like I have to try everything to find a LE. So if anyone knows or hears of one, or if you guys could recommend other sources of information, I’d very much appreciate it if you could let me know. Any input is more than welcome!
Oh, and a very happy 4th of July to you all! It’s my first (I arrived in beautiful Norcal three months ago, through Montreal, Canada) and I’m loving it!
Cheers,
JM
