Help! PO 6180 vs PO6181

Hello, I want to buy volume pedal to plug it in Amp Fx loop. I need to control volume after preamp, so which of this model is best for this purpose PO6180 is passive 250K or PO6181 for active instruments 25K.

P.S. I play passive electric guitars.

In this case you want the active (low impedance) version with the 25k pot. 99% of the time, after a preamp or buffer this is the right choice.
