Actually, when my sales monkey let me down on that bass I just had to get it out of here somehow and I thought of Mel. He had told me that he was always curious about Bongos and that he had played a few over at The Bass Place and never really had an opportunity to spend much time with one. He's got such a high profile gig here in Phoenix that I just wanted to do what I could to get that Fender FMT off stage.
