Off Topic Possible new bass quality rigs on the market?

Hi guys!

I'm very proud that can introduce possible new quality gear for bass players & guitarists on the market!

As a member of CMU (Croatian Musicians Union) I'm invited for first public presentation of our domestic (Made in Croatia) company KFX amplification!

KFX Amplification

Any invited musician can bring his own instrument, ...sounds like lots of fun to me!

Anyway, for now I'm impressed with the Bass amp model KFX Apollo 602 amp head (only this bass amp in offer for now) and bunch of bass cabs equipped with Eminence speakers!

One more interesting thing is that few of offered sound clips are recorded with MusicMan Luke HSS EMG guitar, at their web page?!?

I'll keep You informed about this stuff and try to take some photos with EBMM gear there!

OK, I visited this presentation yesterday, it was performed in one music bar, at one side guitar amps, at the other side bass gear.

I tried Apollo 602 with 210 cab first, and after complete 210 + 115 set!
It was also in offer the same amp with 410 cab, but I didn't tried it!

Top model was new separate tube preamp + power 1200 W amp with 810 mighty cab, but I didn't tried it just make a photo near by to see how powerful it looks like! (this photo will come by email later)



Honestly, it was pretty noisy there, guitar guys was making a big noise around but here is my review:
Not bad amp, but weak cabs, I mean my EBS cab is muuuch better!
Anyway, amp knobs don't allowed to mix between solid state and tube preamp, tube is always ON, that means that solid state preamp doesn't exist!
Mosfet power output works solid, but it seems to me that is far away from declarable 600 Watts! (subjective feeling, but was huge space there )
One more specific thing, I tried Gain and Master volume all over to the end (tone knobs flat) !!! and no clip indication, no distortion, no limited output signalization, sound clear !!!
That's absolute fantastic, I never could do this with any other bass rig before!

Price is about 10-15% less than Little Mark Tube, so will see how things will develop in the future!

I'll keep You informed guys about this products, I made some contacts with people running this small company...etc. (incoming some better photos when arrived via email)

I like Trace Elliot (older stuff not to famillar with the new stuff) or Ampeg both sound great
