Hey all,

today I'm writing my 1000th post...almost exactly two years after I joined the forum. It's been a great ride all along...I gathered lots of great information, enjoyed sneak peaks and torture threads (thanks for the insight BP & crew!), found help and support when I was in need of, met lots of great people and was lucky enough to build some friendships that I know aren't only superficial...had my share of GAS attacks and found ways to (at least temporarily) cure them...this place really feels like family and has become a part of my daily routine. EBMM really changed my life...with the guitars that made me become a better, more open minded player and inspired me to walk on new paths with my playing as well as with the community here.

Thanks guys!

Cool! Un mille posts, hah. Crazy collection; will we see double in 1000 more posts?

Also, maybe I should have made a thread for my 2000 posts, but... meh :p

Nice AL collection Patrick in such a short time, I think you have beaten Robelinda with your AL appetite and Rob was already a kind of ogre for the AL around here ahahahahah

Hmmm...depending on your age and how long it'll take me to post another thousand...could be years...and visual faculty decreases with age...:p
Just kidding! As many around here I got rid of (almost) every non EBMM in my possession and I'm running out of gear to move I'm afraid! :)

I just can't help it, the AL simply is the love of my "guitar life", perfect in every which way for me...I succesfully resisted the urge to order a roasted AL but I still don't have one with a piezo...:D

Keith, thank YOU for feeding it! As I posted in this other thread my collection wouldn't be anywhere near the same if it wasn't for you and your crazy beagle ways! :)

As for a new family shot I'll do my best and see if I get around to.

Took it up north to Örebro/Sweden when I visited family...my little cousin kinda fell in love with that crazy looking guitar I happen to be constantly raving about so I left it there...he's 14 and started playing about two or three years ago. I said I was gonna lend it to him 'til so he could see how he likes it...and that's all I can tell you right now as I must fear he's gonna read some of the stuff here...Christmas is right around the corner ;)
