I know this is going to hurt some of you to look at as much as it does me but here it goes.......
The case was pretty much destroyed

Ouch.......

Thanks to the hardshell case the body survived without a scratch

My rack case was also destroyed. My amp works but the power button is stuck in the On position......No big deal

I'm thinking we have proof here that cars weigh more than basses.

Dang, man, I don't even want to see what your car looks like now.

Randy,

I have a slightly damaged case (just in one corner) but still quite functional sitting in my garage doing nothing. If you are interested PM me and I can send to you freight paid to help you out. Now if someone would have a spare neck lying around:rolleyes:

While it pains me greatly to see those pix, it makes me happy you walked away from a crash that did all that. May be time for a collection to replace that neck. Best wishes, man...

I think BP and the factory are going to help Randy replace that neck and make the bass functional again.

Who rocks?

Jeez man....I am so glad you made it out okay. I would rather the bass get more damaged than you...BP can fix the bass....you might be a little more difficult...maybe ursula could buff you out...but that would be about it..:D

If you remove the cover from the amp you will see the on-off switch mechanism is a kinda flimsy bracket deal which you can straighten up by hand and fix that. Mine came like that. The rack ear/handle was bent so apparently the shock from a big bang can cause the switch bracket to get out of alignment.
Glad you survived! :)

Damn. Glad you can still see straight. Basses are nice, but they are just shaped wood. Better it than you.

I'll drink some tequila in memory of your split neck. I was going to drink it anyway, but this gives me an excuse.

Feel better! Pain drugs rule!

I just saw the topic on the RSS and thought to myself "Great, another spammer tastelessly defiling Steve Irwin..."

I'm glad you're alive and kicking to fill us in, even more so to know that you won't be Ray-less for long. That looks like it took a hell of a wollop.

Thats awesome. Its funny earlier when this was first posted I showed my wife and told her "I bet EB helps him out with the neck." Im not at all suprised that I was right. Rock on Pops and crew you guys are the best. If I ever get the pleasure of meeting you and Jon I so want you guys to sign my bass. ;)

Dang man. I'm just glad you came out better than your bass.

That's some serious mojo.

Thanks Doc, they said that anybody in the back seat would not have survived. The airbags and seatbelt saved my life, so always make sure to buckle up Stanky! Besides a jammed pinky finger with some pretty good cuts on it and bruised ribs/stomach/collarbone this is all I got.......
