pots in the sub guitars

Hey all this looks like the place to ask this question.
The pots in the sub guitars are 250k this is the value that is used with single coil pickups and as we all know the subs have humbucking type pickups.
500k pots shound make the pickups sound a little hotter.
I wanted to know if anyone has switched thier pots to 500k's and if they liked the change?

500k pots will make hummers noticeably brighter sounding.....but not hotter......
