Hey all!

Recently I decided to try some new strings on my passive SUB5. I'd been using... well, another brand for several years and just wasn't digging them too much any more. Enter the Power Slinky 5's. Wow! I think they're just the ticket for this instrument! More beef in the sound, lot's o' low-mid punch and they play like a dream! Not hard on the fingers and I didn't have to adjust the trussrod! What's up with that? :D

Anyway, the initial 'zinginess' has gone now and that's fine. I'm not a 'zingy' player and to be honest, I've only been able to hear them through my computer, as my amp is at the rehearsal space. But, I think my band-mates are in for a pleasant surprise, as I was! Anyway, just wanted to gush. As you were!

Nice one Phil... I always struggle to get out bassist to change his strings, but when he does - wow, what a difference! :)
