Pre Order Music Man Ebay?

I could be wrong and please delete this post if I am. But Something

just doesn't seem right about Pre Ordering A Music Man Guitar through

Ebay waiting 3 months or longer for delivery. So many things could go

wrong with not Ordering via Shopatron or a Brick store with walls through

a dealer. There could be nothing wrong with this idea, I dont get it.

No. But it's ebay. If I was selling on orders from ebay users I'd want full payment up front too. I bet if you walked into the store with a DL and 1/2 down, they'd order it for you. And the good news is - they're in Duluth! One of the most beautiful places in Minnesota. Yeah - butt cold in the winter - but an awesome place to go to cool off in the summer when it's sweltering in the Twin Cities. But I digress.

I think they are doing that probably to let people know what is available to order. A lot of people may stumble upon new releases there that wouldn't otherwise know. "Really? That Alvin Lee model now comes in 2 HBs with a RW neck? I didn't know that!!!" - you get the idea.

Yea they are legit dealer and do lots of ebay stuff, I would never pre order like that though, and I would never pay all upfront on a preorder, only the holding deposit, I helped a guy buy a sterling bass from them smooth transaction.

They have had several EBMM guitars for sale for a while now on ebay. I've been looking at the solid black Axis they have for almost a year. If I were gonna prepay for a guitar it would have to be something rare with a nice quilt top. They are trying to take orders for natural flame top Axis?

Couldn't agree more. No point on payin upfront for a regular guitar.
