WOULD A RAY 35 PREAMP WORK ON A 4 STRING STERLING BASS????

Yes, it will work, the preamp doesn't care how many strings you have. BUT the other questions are 1) does it fit in the bass you want to put it in, and 2) will you like the sound? I cannot answer those questions.

Yes and I hope so, I was looking for a ray34 pre to pop in..all I could find was from a ray35..is there any difference at all in them .. ?? I don't want the switcher part of the 35 just 3 the band eq.. as long as it's the same as the 34
