Well, looks like the PDN Bass has been served up on the Bass side, so hopefully that will put the ball back in our court.

What would be the sickest combo of appointments that would make a sweet 2012 PDN guitar?

Personally, I would love to see an Albert Lee:
HHH
Coil tap
Full rosewood neck
BFR Inlay
Mahogany body
Hardtail (vintage term would be aight too)
Piezo
White Pearloid Pick guard
Custom color = need help here

What would you like to see?

A "replica" of the JP BFR proto used on Score. I just love the way it looks and sounds.

The Jp12 is basically the same guitar. Only the necks are difference. finished mahog, vs unfinished maple.

but both are have same body woods. basswood w/ mahog tone block plus maple cap!

I can't wait to try one!

It is not very adventurous I know but I would love to see another run of Rosewood necks as I would kill for a Reflex with a rosewood neck and as there were so few 25ths made with them I don't think i would be able to get one another way!!

Paint Job

OK, I am going out on a limb here.... I do not know the first thing about mixing paint.
BUT, thought this was worth saying.

### I will call the paint color, "Ghost". ### This will be for guitars with Trans-type paint job's.

Is there a way to first stain the wood either Gray or Black, then lightly sand to the point where wood grain outlines show...

Then, somehow, create a White Stain, and apply with a cloth of some sort?

The idea would be a shadowy-effect or hollowed.

The back of the guitar would be painted black. Ideally, there would be Black Chrome parts.

Steve Morse standard
with floyd rose
autumn redrise finish
matching headstock
roasted maple neck
piezo

I don't think the pickgaurd would look good with that finish so perhaps if your recessed the pickgaurd just a couple of millimeters to make the top completely flat. Then the pickgaurd could be straight white or even a wood pickgaurd to match the body since it isnt a translucent finish. Then just paint over the pickgaurd.

I think that would be awesome
