Prepare to pay more for a used EBMM/EVH for a while.

The official Van Halen website has just posted cities that will be on a Van Halen tour this summer. No dates, just cities. No official word on who will be singing, or what the tour is in support of, but rumor has it that Sammy is back, and has recorded 4 new songs for a "Best Of Volume 2" CD. This should boost the resale on the EVH model until Eddie decides to fall off the face of the earth again.

Just saw that page on the official site; that makes me feel good to know there's something official in place, instead of all the "talk" that has been going on over the last while. I'm upset that Phoenix isn't listed there, but sure it will be in due time (although I would never turn down a trip to Vegas if necessary!)

As far as EVH resale, I agree with you, and have seen it starting to pick up already. Ive seen 'em running around $1600+ starting, including one that was running over the weekend (at last check) of $2100.

Glad I've got my 2 already. :)

I guess I did alright on the one I bought two weeks ago. I paid $1200 CDN for a 1992 in Trans Purple. It has faded to almost grey, on the headstock. The body has more color, but it too has faded considerably. I'll throw up some pics tomorrow.
