Hi, guys! There's my second thread here. I have a few other problems with my MM BFR JP.

First, when I'm in "mono jack/magnetic signal mode" I hearing noise and hum when I move tremolo bar or other parts of my guitar like if there is bad grounding. Btw, when I switching to the piezo signal in that "mono jack mode" noise/hum immediately goes away!
Second, if I play with 2 cables in stereo mode/magnetic + piezo signal, when I switching to magnetic signal - a big part of noise goes away (but there is still a little bit) and also my highs goes away like If i turned my tone knob down a little bit.
Third, when I'm in "stereo mode" piezo signal is much louder than in similar situation with piezo signal but in mono jack mode.
Is that NORMAL??? Do you know, guys, how to solve this problem? I contacted CS and they told me they need to see guitar to take care of it, but I live outside of the US and there's is no way to send it directly to MM CS. :(
Thanks.

I'm afraid it's hard to diagnose anything from the description. If you've ruled everything else out- different cables, amp, etc, and you're sure it's the guitar, then you need to have somebody qualified take a look. Perhaps a local dealer?

OK, I'll give 'em a try, but if there's is nobody to check that, I'll need to send it to Sates to MM CS?

I have the same problem with my shilouette. When use mono its normal, but when i only put on magnetic jack, the high signal is cut and there's short mute when changing between pickups

Did you ever figure out your problem?

I'm sorry I don't mean to thread crash. I wasn't able to start my own thread for some reason. I just picked up a used 2013' Black Ernie Ball MusicMan JP6 BFR. I noticed when using the mono plug from the guitar and I'm in Piezo mode(top switch all of the way up). Then connected to amplitube 3 on my computer. The "D" and the "B" strings sound almost dead. 1/2 the volume of the other 4 strings.

When nothing is connected and the guitar is unplugged all 6 strings sound the same. And when I turn the piezo system off. The top switch all the way down, and the guitar output is from the stereo(magnetic) port all 6 strings are the same volume there too.

Any ideas?

The forum is most certainly not dead... :)

But I'll tell you what the mods and employees of EBMM will tell you--- call customer service. That's what they're there for. Even Sterling Ball (you know, the owner of the company AND this forum) says clearly in the rules of the forum--- please call customer service BEFORE posting issues with your instrument here. :)

Tommy- It sounds like you might have a couple of dead piezo saddles, but it is very tough to diagnose without having the guitar in front of us. Sooooooooooo..... Call customer service. :)

How can anyone diagnose your problem over the Internet?

Call MM customer support and they can help sort you out, or send you to someone that can.
