Heya, folks!

Okay, so, now I have a newer question for all of you musicians (Preferrably Guitarists): What type of Multi-Effects Processor do you think is best and (aside from Petrucci's Custom-Designed MIDI Floor Controller) what MIDI Foot Controller is most similar to JP's that anyone can pick up either through Online Store or down at the Local Shop?

Remember, the idea concerning the Foot Controller is to allow the user to be able to program each and every one of his/her settings into the Controller to activate and use them real-time during a set. Basically, what Controller can you get that's closest to JP's just short of it being JP's?

Suggestions are more than welcome, folks!

Alan,

You should check out Bob Bradshaw's company, Custom Audio Electronics. If you want it, they can make it.

Also, Voodoo Lab makes a nice system called "Ground Control".

those were the exact 2 I was thinking of.

for my 2 cents though, I've been a lot happier since I tossed my rack (well, most of it) for the psychotic and stupidly complex pedalboard arrangement I have now. once I got it all set up in 2 pedalboards (...yeah... I know) with voodoo labs pedal power 2 units (4 to be exact) I discovered how accessable the sound I really wanted was. mind you, I had to drop an aphex guitar exciter at the end of the chain to put back in the tone I sapped out with all the boxes in front of the amp (I like it much more than any other EQ pedal I've used), but space limitations aside, I quite prefer it.

I still run a lexicon reverb and hush IIcx in my rack, but that's it.
