A beautiful new bouncing baby ball... AUTUMN REDBURST HSH, 24 fret dream nugget! I finally have my dream guitar. I think I might trade the maple for rosewood, change the PUPS to a black d-sonic/norton setup with a 3 way on white pearloid. Get rid of the single. What do you think?

Very nice Silo. It's really pretty. I think I'd like a rosewood board on a Silo. The maple board does offer a nice contrast to your SS. I wouldn't do anything else myself.

Congrats my friend. :)

I might just change the PG, and the type of PUPS but keep the same config. I was just going to build a whole new pickguard so I could keep this one in reserves. I just rarely use a middle single. I think I have to do the rosewood though, I kinda like the maple, but I'm just so used to dark necks...

Sweet as sugar bro!!! very nice .......we should do a thread on the SILO autumn redburst only ...Dan says there are only 4 of them built...and i have 1 and you have 1 that leaves 2 more out there so anyone reading this that has a SILO and NOT the SiloSpecial.....post a pic!!!

and yah the pickguard would be the only change if at all!

Sweet guitar - I was looking at that one myself. You get it from GC?

Yeah Lenny, I've been dying to know who has the other two. Searching google and this site it appears both have made eBay appearences in the last few years.

Headstock- yup, from gc and in surprisingly amazing condition... As far as the finish there are only 2 hairline finish cracks at the bottom (took me 4 days and weird lighting to find them) and a couple dents and sweep from someone adjusting the fretboard. Much better condition than my SS I got from the gc in Houston...

And everyone else, thanks!

Keep the single! Maybe rewire the middle position for neck+bridge if you don't use the single coil sound.

I would technically be keeping it. The other setup would be the "alter ego" pickguard. Change em out as needed. I also have the SS and I do use the neck single on that...

Here ya go, not mine but the guitar is located here in Holland:

you keep posting this BUT it is not original and since we do not know the specs i dont know how to count it?.... could be a different neck ,definately not original guard and pups ....and it not a piezo...dan says only 1 had the plain headstock and a rosewood board ....so where this one came from remains a mystery... we need a serial number on that one to solve the mystery!

Thanks again everybody! That other silo is a bit perplexing, huh? All that's left, supposedly are a maple with piezo and a rosewood with matching hs... That'd be a shame if that was the matching hs one with a new neck...
