My sister gave me a Media Player Playlist full of 80s and 90s tunes and Chris DeBergs(?spelling?) Lady in Red was on it. Ive heard the tune before, but just now noticed how killer that fretless line is. You can hear so much feeling and conviction in that line. Pino is supposed to have played that on his fretless StingRay.

So, Props to Pino, for a one of my personal favorite bass lines ever.

Pino playing with John Mayer Trio

Pino is out on tour with the john mayer trio, with Steve Jordan on drums.
It should be a killer show. My first time seeing pino was at a Gary Numan show in
1983 in Atlanta. Didn't know who he was but I rememeber the Stingray fretless he played the whole show, It dominated the groove. blew me away.

Im looking forward to catching the John Mayer trio out on tour.

Ive been excited to hear waht a deadly combo they are gonna make.

Even though Mayer is a "pop" star, he can shred on the guitar. I heard him a while before he got signed, and was blown away by his playing and writing.

Hes a great player that deserves a listen.

Pino plays one of my fav f-less lines ever: Paul Young's "Everytime You Go Away"
Also didn't he play on Don Henley's "Sunset Grill"?
He sure has a knack of making fretless lines stick in your head.

Live with Paul Young is where Pino really shines. If you ever saw them play "Sex" live it is fantastic how tight the band were and how inventive his lines are.

Hey, nothing wrong with borrowing the wife's panties every now and then.

Remember that bass playing chick that was selling her worn panties on eBay a number of years ago??
