We traded Silos because we liked each other's guitar more than we liked our own. His is still in transit but i got mine the othr day and can't be happier with it!

After 5 straight hours of playing this bad boy at practice today I can honestly say that as far as feel and stock tones this is the best electric guitar I've ever played. As soon as I picked it up it just screamed "take me, I'm yours" in a way the cream-colored one never did. Total freedom of movement and effortless control over the strings.

I may change the bridge to a JB or a FRED but the neck pickups are staying put. They sound real cool and sweetly stratty.

We have a winner!!!

Thanks I am glad you like it. The stock singles are great and the way the humbucker splits with the middle pickup is very usefull. I would probably put a Fred in the bridge. ;)

Yeah I'm leaning towards the Fred for the increased harmonics but I'm told my Legacy will sound good with the JB feeding it as well.

Let me know when the guitar arrives and how you like it!

Hey Brendon,
How did you guys know you liked the others guitar better when you live like 3000 miles away?

I'll revert to a quote from SRV:

"I didn't even have to try it out. I just looked and it and I knew."

He wanted a hard tail and I wanted to try something else. I wanted a floyd model. I really want a Luke I as I love the Luke neck better than anything in this world. I am hopeing this one will quench my desire for a while or at least until I can afford one. :D It comes tomorrow and I bet I get very little sleep tonight. I hate to even go to work (cough cough).

Man just got home about an hour ago. Man do I feel like a crook!! This guitar is almost mint. IT is very nice and thanks for hooking me up. The color goes very well with my Luke. I still like my Luke better but this thing is awesome. I just wish it had a Luke neck then it would be perfect. I hope to one day get a Luke I actualy I would like to get one of each of his sig. guitars. I have the Luke II and the OLP Luke. Of course the other brands probably suck compared to the music man but somebody has to be the best. :D
