PSA: 25th at Guitar Center Manchester, CT

I feel dirty even posting this as Pete D is the prefered EBMM dealer for me but I happened to run into Guitar Center Manchester today and saw they had a 25th there with the "suckiest" quilt top I've seen, maple fretboard, trem on clearance for $2149. It was not used, the only things I noticed were (1) the plastic overlay explaining the switch positions was gone and (2) the volume pot was a little loose. Other than that, it was in primo shape and sounded/played awesome. I asked why it was $2149 as the flame top 25th they had was over $2500 and they told me because it had been in inventory for quite awhile and they were trying to move it.

If I wasn't in such a love affair with the feel of my JP, I would've had a hard time leaving this guitar behind.

Just wanted to let my fellow knuckleheads know of it's existence.

Don't torture me on 25th sightings, it's hard enough as it is not having one yet....Come on graduation and first paycheck!!! Don't care about quilt or flame but I desperately need a maple board/trem combo...Anyone have a clue as to how many 25ths came to Europe?

Rule #1 for practically all my adult life: only borrow money for eduction and a house. The rest will come and a 25th WILL be mine, oh yeah
