You are playing way too high on the neck where the little pingy notes are.
You get back down where you belong, Craig Young.
There is no money up there.

Even if I wanted to, I just can't at the moment. With one Bongo and the roasted Big Al coming in in December / January, I will have to get rid of some stuff first to please the mrs.. But the GC sure is tempting....

So you have your's back now Craig? Did you use it on the new lady a album?

You are so right Bovine - I was sacked immediately after this photo was taken - and the drummer swallowed a stripy insect in his astonishment at the zingy high bass notes ..........................don't know what came over me :D :p

@cyoungnashville - so you did avoid the SLO 're-possession of Gamechanger squad'?? Will you be able to upload some sound samples at some point?

i have "a gamechanger" in my possession. bp will be along shortly to taunt me over this one too.

i aim to play every note of the new lady a record on the g.c. and so far so good, with no problems in sight. the producer is in love with the sounds and parts we are getting after throwing an absolute hissy fit the first day of pre pro when i showed up, sans fender. he seriously pulled out his phone and was gonna have one sent over right then. after i calmed him down, i talked him into at least listening to the musicman lineup. that was 3 weeks ago, and i havent heard the f-word since. just lots of hi 5's and big smiles.

+1 on the next Lady A album. Won"t probably show up on the liner notes, but all of us knuckleheads will know the secret sauce responsible for that incredible low end.

I love this bit

Curious noob question here: what kind of F. do this guys expect you to arrive with? Does it have to be a vintage dinosaur one or would a modern look-alike suffice?

I wasn't amazed at the GC. I was amazed to see the other 4 basses in a stand! Guess Craig finally stopped putting them on the floor... ;)
