Thanks all so far,
Yeah i like the white cover, goes well with the B/W/B guard, but also like the look of it all black.
Got a sunburst 7ender strat that Ive had for years, its got the B/W/B guard with white covers etc on it, was trying to achieve "matching pair" but not to sure its worked out

Dan... I originally ordered the pair to go on a VSB so i am a bit biased. After many swaps i found i liked a tort guard and white cover best on the sunburst (a close second to the white on white). JOSH

I like the contrast of the black PG with the white cover. Brings out the dark outer of the body and really makes the figure of the wood pop out. John

Danny they all look great - I voted white pg black cover - simply because it looks very vintage 76/77 Ray and brings out the grain in the body. Hamish Stewart uses exactly the same combination in a 1977 DVD I have of Average White Band playing.

But seriously they all look great - you could just rotate them as the mood takes you (or you could do what Bernard Edwards seemed to do.........change from black to white dependent to match the colour of your clothes ;) (suits in his case - though I doubt anyone wears white suits these days :D )

I initially tried the cover on my Buttercreme ray, always like the look of a white cover against a tort guard but it clashed horribly against the Buttercreme so came straight off it ( i did offer the tort guard against the sunburst Ray but it didn't look quite right to me ?)
Its all good fun ! :p
Thanks again !

Rotation is the way forward !! :p
I like the look of them all so its a win win (just gotta settle on something or I'm going to be practicing scales as punishment for the rest of the year :p)
Hmmmm matching clothes, good one :)
