Hey guys, I'm almost positive I already know the answer to this question, but I'm really hoping that I'm wrong.

I have a Silhouette, my local shop was blowing out Balls, and the price on this guy was way too good to pass up. The problem is, I hate the color scheme. It's black, with a black pickguard and a rosewood fretboard. Call me picky, but I hate the way rosewood looks with black guitars...

My question is, can I get a new, maple neck (maybe even roasted :p) from EBMM to put on my guitar?

Sorry dude ... not in the cards. You can get a neck replacement (for a cost), but it'd be matched with one having the same specs.

There's always the chance of a trade, though. You might find someone wanting to swap theirs for RW neck.

Yeah. Trading with someone else or buying another guitar with a neck you like better and swapping the necks would be the only way.

Ditto to Roburado and Beej. Instead of hasseling with finding someone to swap necks, just sell or trade the guitar and find one that has the color scheme you like.
