Thanks to Mystixboi, here's my newly acquired purple Axis. Not the best pic, because I snapped it right before rehearsal last night. Sounds fantastic and plays even better.

very nice!!!! i'm glad you like it!!!! i didn't know you have the 5150 3... i have the 50 watt micro version and i love it!!!

I had the 50 watt 5153 and couldn't deal with the volume jump between Ch. 1 and Ch. 2 and since my band does a lot of covers that require a pristine clean, I decided to move up to the 100 watt half stack. Despite my choice in gear, we don't do any Van Halen, nor do I sound that way, but I really dig the tones I'm getting from the Axis and the 5153.

Very cool. I'm not gigging right now do the volume jump isn't too bad for me.

He does know how to "design" some great stuff

Yeah it sounds huge...I love it. DOB is September 2009 according to customer service. I thought I read EBMM stopped purple models in 2001, except for the newly released Tributes. Doesn't matter though...

I dont know when they stopped doing Purple but they dont do it anymore, I sure didnt think they did them in 2009.
