i dont like to blow my wad with my first bd. plus i have ending items before that didnt meet the reserve but i was the highest bidder and the seller e-mailed me and offered the item for what i bid. will be watching this one real close today.

Wow.. yet another 'rare' Musicman. At this point, I'm starting to think they're all rare.

I do like purple on those, regardless.

As for trying to buy lower than the reserve, outside of eBay. Beware of that. You lose what little safety eBay/Paypal provide. If you get screwed, you're on your own.
