I'm still loving my BFR JP6 but I have a question regarding the push/pull tone knob. I know with the knob in, the pickup configuration is the same as a standard JP but with it pulled out, you get both hums when you put the toggle in the center position. I thought the spec sheet that came with the guitar said that the neck and bridge positions are the same regardless the tone put is in or out. I swear with the tone knob pulled, the bridge pickup sounds a little hotter than when it's pushed in. Don't get me wrong, I love it, it's almost like a little solo boost with just the pull of the knob. Did I misunderstand what I read or is this just one more hidden jewel in such a sweet guitar?

Strange - I didn't nottice that in my BFR JP (when I had it) at all. Officially, the split coil tap only has to do with the middle toggle position - so Yours is a very special BFR JP :)
