This may be an often answered question, or perhaps I'm one of the few that does not know this story, but I'm wondering if someone can fill me in on the history of the Dargies? I love my Bongo DD and it is the bass that brought me to this board, but I'm not totally clear on how they came into production. Please enlighten me.

Thanks,

TS

Yeah. I sent Beaver 2 emails today. I may either be joining the Dargie club or the Bongo 5-string club. Depending on prices, availability, and finance workability. :)

To be honest, last year I thought the green in the promo picture of the DD Sterling looked awful.
I wasn't until the factory production photos, I really saw what the color looked like, but of course by then it was well beyond being able to order what I'd want.
but nonetheless it is a great story, and my band thought the story was cool when they asked me who is Dargie and why did it have martini inlays.

I haven't told them about the Dlue Dawn on order yet...
