did any body saw s.lukather's gtr on the live show in amsterdam?

did u see he had a different single coil on the bridge pos'?
besides the fernandes p.u , can u place a regular s.duncan or dimarzio single coil
with a emg active circuit?

what i mean is... can u "mix" between ACTIVE and NON ACTIVE circuts????

yes you can do it, EMg's say so in their faq section.

I wonder why Luke swapped the EMG-85? That's the one he uses on the bridge----or are you talking about the neck single coil or middle position single coil? I'd like to know why as well, especially since his axe is so versatile. He could be experimenting/coming out w/ new pickups I don't know.

Thats a fernades sustainer in the neck, and Luke will tell you it's great for a goof, but it sounds great with the fernades sustainer turned off, but he does love his EMG's, is which he's said a couple of times, he actually uses it a couple of times, like in the solo to While my Guitar gently weeps and the piano/guitar solo.
