I've just replaced the complete Piezo Bridge on my Pet with a new one from EBMM, to find the Piezo is no longer working. Battery is fine, connectors are all good and before I get the multimeter out and start going through the wiring diagram is there a quick way to test with the piezo is "live" without re-stringing? Like just by tapping the saddles?

You can tap the saddles and if everything is working you will be able to hear it. Please double check the contact points in the battery box. They can flatten out and not make good contact with the battery.

Thanks Jon for the quick reply.

Battery is ok, there's 9V going into the circuit board (EBJP Rev 1.0 3/21/01). Jacks ok as Magnetic coils are giving signals. I tried with my old pet piezo-bridge and same issues so it must be something either with the piezo volume pot or the board itself. Is there a way to test with a multimeter if the pot is ok? I'm stuck here...

ps. must add that I'm also getting great support from Kevin @ Customer Support - wanted to see if anyone on the forum had ideas...
