Tristan, I was gonna warn you about looking at Glenn's AL...too late! In fact, I should have followed my own advice! Its a beautiful ax and comes with a great story to top it off. I'm a new member to the AL Club (early "pinkburst") myself. What can I say, you're gonna love it! Would love to bring home a P90 sibling for my "pinkburst". if i could only win that lottery! Tristan, you're not only getting a great guitar model with the AL but you're also getting a great bunch of folks here on the forum. I'm sure you already know that!

Tristan,

I played two different AL models at the EBMM Open House last year. They both had great action and were a joy to play. So I expect you'll be very comfortable with the AL neck.

I have a Petrucci and a Morse Y2D. While the necks are very different on those models, they are both comfortable for me. I prefer the JP neck a little more because it is definitely wider at the first few frets, and my fingers aren't those skinny little spider legs like Steve Vai and Paul Gilbert have! :)

I will own an Albert Lee one day.. probably with MM90's. Of all the guitars I played at the open house, that one surprised me the most. I loved it, and I never expected that I would!
