Any news one when the new packaging will start to ship? All I see in stores still is the old packaging style. I usually buy a case of 12 packs of strings at a time, and I'm running low, but would much rather buy a box of the new packaging instead of being set for a year of the old packaging to find out a month later the new ones ship.

Hey,

You may want to stock up on the "vintage" packaging - you never know what it may go for on Ebay in 30 years!!! Lol,lol, lol,

I'd also like to know. I've been stringing my Ball with "D" brand strings for a while (runs and hides), but I just tried EB strings again and all I can say is wow, what have I been missing? They sound so much better, and they stay in tune SO well! Now that they'll have the shelf life of the Ds, I plan to buy in bulk :D

The packaging on the Slinkys should start changing over sometime this summer ..
The new coated acoustics are the only ones right now that are in that type of packaging. The strings will still come in their paper envelopes on the inside of the package.
