Just got both items this week and i am trying to use the custom tone downloads but I dont have the pod 2.0 book and I am not sure what MIDI cable / software I will need. I have the pod 2.0 software, but it does not offer help on conecting the unit with the proper cable etc. to the computer. Does anyone use this? Also, what is the best VH tone for the axis in everyones opinion.

Dude, I think you want the Line 6 forum. You'll get all the help your looking for. Do a search first and if you can't find what your looking for, the ask for assistance. Also, I'm pretty sure you can download the Pod book from line6.com.
