when ya buy a new EBMM do you guys normally have to lower your string height or is it fine the way it is? I like it as low as i can get it without having the fret buzzing.

maybe i just need to get used to the new guitar. lol i like the height on my wolfies, but cant remember if i had the action lowered or not. If i do have the local guitar shop lower them a bit is there anything that they should know about EBMM guitars that maybe they dont? Because as ive said before they dont stock ebmm guitars and highly doubt that they ever work on em. Ive heard that you should never remove all of the strings during a string change all the same time.

They come with a very low action from the factory. I had to raise mine a bit, (slight truss adjustment). But that was an international shipment so you would expect it to have moved a bit since it left the factory.

I've only bought two new ones- one was perfect, one needed a slight lowering.

I will say this: the guitar I sent in to Jon to set up (standard Morse) came back with the BEST setup I've ever had. Looking at the strings, I can't see how they clear the frets and yet don't buzz. Lowest action ever :D

With the design of the MM Floyd, It's best to do string changes one string at a time. The knife edges dont wrap around the posts like an OFR does, so it's good to keep string tension on the trem.
