I have a Musicman Sub Sterling. I recently installed a battery backwards and now I have no signal at all coming out. Is it normal for an an improperly installed battery to cause damage? What most likely did I damage?
do u hear something "wrong" now that youve got it in the right way? hopefully it sounds just fine... but you should give customer service a ring just to get their professional opinion
That would be the thing to do. It should be OK, though. Dudley and I spent some time once, TRYING to do damage buy installing the battery in a SUB the wrong way. We could not break it. The contacts in the SUB battery box are tough, and I don't think they would bend if the battery was installed backwards.
