Hi, I ordered EBMM JP6 (pearl redburst) with piezo bridge about a month ago, although the estimated delivery time is in November, so no pictures yet. One question concerning the action of the piezo bridge came into my mind recently:

Does the pitch of the other strings drop a little when you bend only one string? I haven't played guitars with floating bridges in ages, but I remember that this minor thing was quite annoying especially when I did unison bends. Is it similar with OFR?

i have a jp7 with piezo, and the pitch only drops a TINY bit when bending strings. of course it is always going to drop to a certain degree since it is a floating bridge after all, however it is much better than my floyd rose mm in this regard.

as to whether or not the jp7 will differ much from the jp6 in this issue, i dont see how it would too much, unless the extra pressure from the extra string keeps the bridge in a more stable position or something? im not too sure. (ive never played a jp6 in case that wasnt clear)

You are balancing the tension of the strings against the tension of the springs in the cavity, so yes; to some extent pitch of the other strings will drop. Unfortunately it is simple physics. However, comparing the Floyd to the JP tremolo, with those same properties of physics, the design of the JP tremolo has different angles and distances between the pivot point on the tremolo posts and the sustain block & springs, along with a different location of the saddles relative to the Floyd which all help to minimize the effect while bending strings.

The JP trem is a lot more manageable.

i had the exact same issue,
i have a jp6 and yes, you will go out of tune a little on unison bends and double stops.

i installed one of these two years ago

Tremol-No™

and it has worked flawlessly ever since

That looks good option to have, what model you have on your JP6? Is it easy to activate/de-activate it, can you do also dives with that (when not activated/locked of course)?

I used a Tremol-no for a while and I recommend it. Great customer support as well. Works just like it says, but it will make the setup a bit more complex to use (obviously).

What's the right version for JP6 w/piezo? Pin, small or large clamp? I'm so used to play hardtails, so I'm gonna order Tremol-no already before my guitar arrives...
