Just wondering if there are any special flame tops that stick out in your mind as favorites over the years, or have you just seen so many great ones that it's all a blur now?

Ha...this place is awesome. Someone asks BP a cool question and less than 2 hours later it is answered. Love it.

That Roasted Maple Top Axis that BP was playing in that thread (http://forums.ernieball.com/music-man-guitars/39837-torture.html#top) is the one that I have shown in this thread (http://forums.ernieball.com/music-man-guitars/47482-pics-philly-guitar-show-2.html#post785235).

If you look closely, exactly same body. After the BP photo, the neck was swapped out for a Roasted Maple neck (ebony fingerboard) and gold hardware. And it lives in my vault now!

Thanks BP and Derek! That is probably one of my most prized EBMM's in my collection. And it's definitely the most beautiful (and I have some nice Balls, so that's saying a lot).

Jeff let me pick it up out of it's stand that day, of course he was right there next to me as I felt the weight and balance on it. Lovely, just lovely guitar there. He's a good guy. I think him and BP are competing on who has the better vault. LOL!

Hey Tommydude: Nah, man. I play! But that one is too amazing and too rare and too amazing and too rare to be knocking around in my studio or, even worse, gigging with! I take it out maybe once a month and play it (just to keep it happy).
