I'm changing pickups in my Luke to passive, looking for a more Silhuette Special type sound but with the Luke feel.

I was wondering, the humbucker on the SS, what is the closest thing Dimarzio offers to that one?

Regards
Niklas

I was talking about the Silhouette Special, there is only one bucker in the SS, not 2 :)

Yes, I know, but just pointing out that there are two different Virtual PAF p'ups.

Yeah I know. It's just that nobody ever has said what the humbucker in the SS is, just what the humbuckers in the Silhouette are.

I was told by DiMarzio that the bridge is closest to a PAF and the single coils are very similar to Blue Velvets

those blue and red velvets are a nice pickup. I have them in a guitar lying around here somewhere

Nope, I grew out of my Ibanez phase many years ago and replaced it with and EVH. I still have other non MM guitars but I never play them (maybe I should sell them?)
