I ordered the Dimarzio Liquifire/Crunchlab combo for my Stealth JP50. Should I change out anything else (selector switch, vol/tone knobs) to get that JP sound (not my playing of course)? Thanks for the help. JOSH

i installed the same pickups in my JP50 and left the switch, volume and top pots as is. The pickups alone are an incredible improvement on the tone. If your switch or pots show any signs of trouble I would replace them. But if they are good, just leave em and drop in the Dimarzio pickups.

I got the same CL/LF in my JP50 after Pat recommended it. It sounds really good tonewise, a lot more depth. You'll love it.

Sorry to revive an old thread but, mmbassplayer, how do you like the JP50 SBK? I noticed that GC is blowing out those and I'm REALLY tempted to pick one up so my JP6 would have a friend. :D

Sounds like you are tempting... What other models are being blown out? :D
