Hi,
I'm seriously considering buying a s/hand silhoutte from a guy that lives by me. It is a three single coil model but I am thinking of converting it to H/S/H or S/S/H as my Axis Sport is S/S/S.
My question is does the body already have the larger routs for that kind of config or did they route them for S/S/S only?
Then next question would be what pickups would be recommended to fit? The guy that owns it now has replaced the original MM pickups with Kinman noiseless and didn't keep the originals.
I'm looking to make this one my rock guitar as it has a Floyd, so I'm looking for some pickup recommendations. Maybe even a stacked humbucker that's single coil size could be an option.
Any help would be much appreciated.
