Question for those who own both a Sterling H and Sterling HH

Just wondering something - does the series position in the Sterling single H sound just like position 1 (solo bridge pickup) in the Sterling HH?

If not, could you describe the differences?

I remember hearing someone mention that each model and pickup configuration sounds a bit different, but since the HH is wired in series I figured it should sound at least similar to the single H in series mode, if not identical.

Thank you, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. A few weeks ago I played the most amazing Sterling at GC, I think I just need to change up my strings to get the right sound out of my HH.

the Sterling is the most impressive bass I've had come thru here yet... and to think we get to communicate with the original Sterling! How many of us have spoken to Leo Fender or Les Paul? think about it we are priveliged...
