I have a curiosity about the story why does Ernie Ball never have a full mahogany bodied musicman guitar ? Of course the mahogany tone block is a superb technology which invented by the musicman's great designers and you don't need any mahogany weight to hurt your back with that technology..
but .. i am just curious since i saw several prototype silos with mahogany body..and i also know that musicman have several basses with full mahogany body. But musicman never make a full mahogany bodied guitar came out to production (as far as i concern)
Is there a technical consideration / technical reason (from the musicman's designer) behind that? ex : mahogany body makes the tone not so versatile, etc..
I am curious because i noticed that almost every other guitar company have at least several guitar model with mahogany body.
thanks
