Question on Axis neck finish

I understand EBMM uses a waxed finish from the factory on its necks. What does EBMM reccomend be used for long term maintenance of the neck in order to preserve the lightning fast silky feel. This is one the fastest, most easily played necks I've ever tried! A friend of mine has used some regular guitar polish on his Axis sport and it seems to have left the neck a little "sticky"feeling. Don't want to mess up. Thanks in advance.

OK, I know how stupid this is, but .... I can't seem to get to the FAQ's. I click on the "FAQ" in the brown stripe near the top of the page, and it goes into the "Search FAQ" screen. I click on the "Match Any Words" and the "Search Titles and Text" dropdown menus, and type something like "bass" or "neck" in the search box. Nothing is found.

Boy do I feel stupid!
