I am planning on purchasing a JP6 guitar, and I am currently deciding on a finish. On music man's site (john-petrucci | guitars | instruments) sterling silver looks like a very light grey/silver color, and sapphire black looks like a dark grey. However everyone else Ive scene pictures of the 2 finishes, sapphire black just looks basically black to me and the sterling silver finish looks like a darker grey to me.
Long story short, my question is to anyone who owns one of these finishes, is the image they show on the music man webpage a good representation of the finish, or are they actually a little darker looking? Not sure if maybe the lighting in the online pictures Ive found have played a part in the finishes looking darker to me.
