Question regarding case differences

Maybe some of you with multiple EBMM's can help me on this one. I was wondering if there were any differences between the cases that came with the Steve Morse and EVH guitars? I'm talking about the older style tolex cases used up until about 4 or 5 years ago, not the newer plastic SKB ones. Would one of those cases that came originally with a Steve Morse guitar fit an Axis/EVH guitar? Thanks!

The Older G&G case (Tolex) will fit most of the MM guitars. We switched to the SKB case when the John Petrucci Model came out.

So I did a compairson and honestly I can't taste a diference

If you see the post Steve and the silhouettes you will see the guitars I am talking about. My Teal silhouette built in 6/93 came with a G&G case as did the Steve Morse Model. (2/00) To my suprise the SM model did not fit in the sil case. The lower horn seemed to be the factor that prevented it from fitting. The SM model did fit in all of the SKB cases.

My daddy told me, "Son, don't ever buy a pair of shoes until you have tried them on. And son, you don't have to buy every pair of shoes you try on." I have found this to be sage advice that applies to more than shoes.
