Hello, everyone!

I wonder if anyone has experience with `Scratch Pad Guitar Finish Protector`? I`m trying to find a way to protect the guitar finish on back side.

Yes - I have several of them and use them whenever I wear clothing that has snap or metal buttons, that might scratch.

I DO remove them when not needed however, and put them back on the plastic backing they come on. They are have a cling backing and are safe for the finish. Highly recommended to keep guitar protected

I own... gosh... something around 80 of these.

LOVE THEM!!!

They stay on the guitars - it's just part of what I do, like putting Dunlop Dual-Design StrapLoks on every guitar.

Just looked into these and see mostly positive reviews. However, a lot of people have said they will damage guitars with nitro finishes. Perfect time to thank EBMM again for giving us high quality finishes!

hey Mikekeller, any issues with this and the matte finish on the Majesty? I contacted scratchpad last year and they gave me a non-answer of "you should check with your vendor! Thanks!" >.<

Sounds like you are using them in the real world, so figured I'd ask :)

None at all. I believe I asked EBMM Customer Service about the finish - it is a poly finish. I had to trim the pad to fit the majesty however, it was much too large.

That all said - I always remove mine after I return from a gig so they are usually only on 6 hours or so.

Excellent, thanks! Might just pick up a couple of these as well :)

My pleasure. Like I said I don't feel comfortable leaving them on 24-7, but do put them on when I am gigging with clothing that might scratch, like snaps, metal buttons etc.

They cling right back onto the backing provided with the pad

I use them all the time, they work great! You just peel them off when you don't need them and stick em back in when you do.
