The latest responce:

Here's the deal. I bought it in good faith and it has been so many years it is a mote point. I could rob a bank and after 7 years take out adds saying I did it and it wouldn't matter legally. Murder is the only crime where there is no statute of limitations and there is no proof regardless this isn't legit. I have no obligation to recall or share with you WHO I bought this from that many years back and there is nothing the legal team can say or so about it. It's a guitar that hasn't even been in production for like a decade. Get a life and get real. You are too ignorant to have a job, let alone work for EBMM so you are fooling no one.

It is not unreasonable to think that there are old / out of production / vintage parts in storage @ EBMM that could disappear today.
If he can't prove when he stole it, then how can any statutes run out?
Does he have the legal funding to support his position? ;)

Jon,

What are the chances of MM buying it BACK, being able to prove it was stolen, then prosecuting?

What if we ALL contact this guy, vouch that Jon does work at MM, and remind him that he is breaking eBay and Federal laws if this sells across state lines? That might be fun...

Do you really want BP and Jon to be fooled twice ? He is asking for big money and I can't see the point in buying something that is already yours.

This auction is really regrettable and not acceptable but what can you do ?.

I am sure with the information given up so far that eBay would cancel, investigate, and maybe even prosecute this auction. Jon has enough in his emails from the guy to get eBay to at LEAST end the auction and suspend his account, I would think...

I must say, Jon, that you've had me fooled. Especially that part when I met you in person in SLO... and saw you at your place of employment. Wow, you're meticulous in your bullsh#tting! :D

GUys lets let this one go. I am the victim here and it just isnt worth the negative energy.

THis man has found a way to justify selling something stolen. He loves the seven year all is good. Karma has no statute of limitations.
