I am getting a new pedal and I want to be able to fade it in and out. I dont want to break any rules so I wont say what it is. My question is this...can i use the tuner out to continue my signal to the rest of my board and use the amp out to run the pedal to it own amp and be able to fade it in and out?

Thanks

So you want to use the VP as a splitter, and take the output of that to a pedal, then to it's own amp?

If you have a buffered signal (active guitar or buffer) and the 25k version, no problem. If you want to do that with a passive signal and the 250k version, you'll end up losing high end.

(Btw, if you want to do the same thing with a single amp, you could also get a small mixer to combine the signals. I do that on my board with a little RJM mini-mixer for a few things in the effects loop ... the Steve Morse approach.)

Well I do have the SM model lol. Yes as a splitter...I guess my passive pickups won't work. I do have an older EB volume pedal that I can employ...thank you for the information that helps.
