I just bought and received my mint "as new" condition MM Stingray 2008 LE HS 4 in Sequoia Gold with gold hardware. She arrived today!!
I have to say, this might now be my favorite Stingray in my stable!
The bass is truly beautiful...and plays super fast.
The HS pup set up always brings an arsenal of tone.
And how about that case? WOW!!! The coolest case I have ever seen!
Kudos to MM for putting this together and letting us own one!
( will snap some nice pics to share soon )

ok my question...

Was wondering if anyone knows more about the 2008 LE series?
Any ideas of numbers?
As in how many were produced?
I know they made 2008 LE in sequoia gold for several models....Bongos...Rays...Sterlings....

Was wondering if there was any way I could obtain an idea of how many of the HS Stingray was made in the 2008 LE model?

thanks in advance for the help :)

Generally, with a few exceptions, those numbers are not released to the public. But hey, it's Sequoia Gold! Where are the photos?

No wonder they call you "mrfstop".

Care to share your camera gear with us?

Was given that nickname from the owner/director of a modeling agency back in maybe 1985...
Kinda liked it and kept it around.
Been shooting as my fulltime living for 24 years now nationally.
Shooting Mostly models.
Now doing educational photographer workshops nationally also, getting into teaching harnessing natural light and model direction, etc.
I am a diehard Nikon guy...Always will be!
Using several D300 bodies with the access. Battery Grips...a bunch of Nikkor fixed focal length lenses.
My favorite being the Nikkor AF 85mm 1.4 ( which I shot these with )
Might break down and grab a D700 or a D3 body...???
Just hate blowing $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 on a camera body....
Need have the money handy in case a great deal on a EBMM bass comes up!!
hahahah!! :D
