I am having some problems with my guitar and I would like to get your thoughts. I am having big time tuning stability with the "sterling" floyd rose. The high e strings seems to be going out of tune just but strumming and regular bending( but of course if i use the trem it goes way out of tune) Also it goes out of tune when I bend the low e string as well( I mean floppy string after I bend it.. this is while the locking nut is tighten) I thought maybe the strings at the floyd had not been tighten enuff( so i went back to make sure and re tightened if needed) but yeah it goes from regular tension to rubberband floppiness after bending it down. Also I am having at lot of buzzing thru the amp and i have adjusted the truss rod to get a 0.010 relief and I just can't seem to get the action to feel right even if i go to a higher action( high enuff that it doesn't play right but still seems to buzz).last I contacted somebody at Sterling and they suggested to take off all the strings at once and lemon oil the fretboard( leave the lemon oil on for a day) then restring it and that would take care of my buzzing. This doesn't sound right to me ....first of all the maple neck has a thin satin poly coating and i don't see how the lemon oil could penetrate it( plus lemon oil on a maple fretboard???) Also i noticed on the Ernie ball setup page advises against ttaking off all the strings at once on the floyd...I want to like this guitar but feel that maybe I got a lemon..any advice would be appreciated thanks in advance!
